There are countless software packages out there, and for churches there are dozens to help manage membership. I believe these were all conceived with great intentions and that they could help your church. Yet, as we pointed out earlier, there is one feature that is asked for first more often than anything else – Ease of Use.
Unlike most features, ease of use is something that can not simply be added in later. To make software that is intuitive it takes purposeful planning and a laser focus. If you are looking at a piece of software with a thousand features I can promise you that will not be intuitive.
One of the hardest things for us, at Fresh Vine, to do regularly is say no to great ideas. It isn’t that these ideas shouldn’t be done, but it is important for us to stay focused on what we exist to do. We actually help others like Table Project (private social network), MinistrEspace (facility management), and others that do things outside of our focus.
By keeping our eyes tightly focused on helping churches understand and track the engagement of their community we can continue to provide the industry leading ease of use we have built in to Fresh Vine for years to come.
