Having been in business for the last 26 years, a number of subjects get me excited. New products, new technology, employees, but perhaps the best is hearing from existing customers or the thrill of a new customer. To watch a young sales person come back from a meeting glowing with exuberance that he got the order. I have been fortunate to be the one on the front line getting the order and watching staff grow while bring in new business. It is how America works and allows us to care for our loved ones. In the midst of it all, throw in a healthy dose of adrenaline, and it is a wonderful way to provide a service to the customer.
The fact that over my long history in business, the company I ran before joining Fresh Vine had repeat sales from clients over and over. We always thought that you treat people well and each month they want to continue buying from you. Now I understand that we had cultivated strong relationship management skills, and our customers enjoyed the relationship as much as we did.
In a few months I will be starting my second year with Fresh Vine. Job transition in today’s market can be a daunting task. The Lord closed a number of networking opportunities, as well as interviews. However, one door remains wide open and it is the one at Fresh Vine. That same thrill I experienced in my own business is present each day working with our Churches. Not only do I get to use my skills in business, sales, and relationship management, I truly feel that God is using me to help his Church community all around the world.
Some of you have had a formal demonstration of Fresh Vine, and we are grateful for the time you gave us. I do not know if it is just the way our world is today, being able to watch a software demonstration in the privacy of your home or office, but we do get to hear what you say. I mean this in a good way, because most of the time we are in the middle of showing a feature and we hear a WOW from the background. Just hearing that word exclaimed like that is the highlight of my day, and I am thankful for people that let their guard down and show some emotion.
God Bless, Bob Prins
