We are all in the profession of story telling. It is the stories we share that create the culture, direction, and give purpose to our churches and ministries. These stores are the easiest way to let those outside your community know what our community values and works towards.
Last week some a former Pixar employee tweeted out 22 Rules to Phenomenal Storytelling. Look through the slides below. They’re very pointed, easy to understand, and very helpful.
One of our goals is to create software your church can use to better identify the stories you choose to tell. Often it becomes difficult to see or understand what is happening in the life of a community that is larger then 30 or 40 people, let alone reaching into the hundreds or thousands.
