Your groups and events are the heart of your church and they are the focus of Fresh Vine. You can create events that areĀ eitherĀ recurring (e.g. Tuesday Bible Study) or one-time. Attendance can be recorded for these events.
Entering attendance allows you to follow-up with members who start missing events, and also lets you view and analyze church event trends. Notes can also be entered during attendance to keep track of what went well and suggested improvements.
Leaders will also manage their own group calendar. They can communicate with all group members using the integrated email tool. The group email capability makes it very easy for a leader to notify the group about a new event, changes to the time or location, and any other information that may be important for group member. The system will automatically notify the group leader to record attendance and they can do this right from their phone before they start or once they get home. This notice is created when the event is scheduled to begin. Group leaders can record event attendance by simply clicking on attendees using the group list. And leaders take event notes summarizing how the event went and keep a record of suggested improvements (these fields are customizable for your church).
Falling through the cracks has gotten more difficult with Fresh Vine. As your leaders are entering the attendance for their events the system automatically looks for anyone who has fallen away. Done on a group by group basis this ensures that your members have personal contact with someone they know, and helps cultivate a shepherding spirit among your leaders. It is amazing the power a simple phone call can have.
